This is a great opportunity top purchase this excellent Hunter Legend 27. She is fresh to the market, she has been very well maintained and cared for by all owners, past and present.
She has the bigger 14hp engine rather than the Yanmar 1GM 10hp, the current owner have had the sail drive seal replaced in October 2016. The sails are also in fantastic condition and were bought new in 2014. The canvas sprayhood and stackpack cover are in good order with the sprayhood being replaced in 2015. The owners have also added single line reefing system and a Z-Spars rod kicker in 2015 also.
The Hunter Legend 27 has the shallow draft fin keel. This allows you to navigate estuaries, rivers and creek crawling but does not give away any performance as the center of gravity is lower in effect acting like a bulb on the end of a traditional fin keel. The wing keel points surprisingly high compared to a bilge keel and tracks along nicely, especially downwind giving excellent stability and some lift.
The internal volume offered with the Hunter Legend 27 is superb, you would never think that you are on a 27 foot yacht. There is a decent galley heads and two good size double berths!
The boat is currently out on the hard standing as it has been each winter so there is no better time to see it.
