Hardy Fishing 24
EVENING STAR is a long wheelhouse version of the Hardy Fishing 24. She was built in 1996 by Hardy Marina and has a white GRP hull with blue topsides. The cockpit sole, engine hatch top and foreward deck area have been fitted with Teakflex. The antifouling was stripped in 2010 and a two pack gel coat was applied she was then re- antifouled.
This hardy Fishing 24 has a 150hp Volvo engine that has approximately 502 hours running and a maximum speed of about 20 knots. She is also fitted with aluminium duoprops and Bennett trim tabs.
Her Navigation Equipment includes Radar, Fishfinder, Depth finder, Weather display, GPS and Radar. Her deck equipment is enhanced by an electric windlass, stainless steel drop down deck cleats and stainless steel port and starboard fairleads, rod holders and frame for mounting dinghy and outboard. A fully fitting cockpit cover includes internal window blinds.
Internally all cabin furniture was replaced in 2009 and upholstery covers were replaced in 2010. All portlights and windows have folding venetian blinds and three of the windows have been modified to slide to allow ventilation.
The main cabin offers a folding helm seat, a dinette seta ( that can be used as a single berth and a drop down crew seat. The ‘galley’ is under the crew seat and has a sink with mixer tap and a two burner cooker.
The foreward cabin has two single berths for overnighting.
