“Mawingo” is currently berthed in Chatham Maritime Marina, Kent, where a berth is also available. This yacht makes an ideal first yacht for anyone new to sailing. She has five berths in two cabins. This yacht is in good condition. She had a new Beta engine fitted in 1996 and new standing rigging in 2014. A 2016 survey report is available upon request.
The Beneteau First 30 offers 5 Berths in two cabins; the saloon has two single settee berths and a quarter berth on the starboard side. Good headroom in the saloon leads to the forward cabin which has a double V berth, with good storage space all round. Located between the saloon and the forward cabin on the port side is the marine toilet with washbasin.The main saloon incorporates a central double drop sided table, located on the port side is the galley with sink, a two-burner gas hob with grill. On the starboard side is the chart table. The saloon is finished with wooden floors throughout, with cloth upholstery, curtains and a door separates the saloon from the forward cabin.
The cockpit is large for the size of the boat and has a reasonable amount of storage space.
