Cruisers Yachts are a US based company that currently manufacture a range of 30 - 56' Sportscruiser and Sedan/Flybridge style yachts and boats. Their heritage dates back to 1904, when the Thompson Bros. Boat Manufacturing company built their first wooden boat. When GRP hulls replaced wooden hulls as the preferred choice in around 1965, Cruisers, Inc, as they were then known migrated seamlessly into the production of these 'new' boats. In 1971, Cruisers, Inc. was bought by the Mirro Aluminium Company, though still run by the original Thompson family that started it all. Several Ownership changes took place, and the company adopted a variety of names through the 1980's and early 90's, including Cruisers International, who grew the companies reputation for building original, quality sportscruisers. The current name, Cruisers Yachts was used from 1993, when KCS International Inc. bought the company and Cruisers Yachts have continued to strengthen their reputation since.

The current range of Cruiser Yachts starts with the 300 Express and continues through the 520 Sports Coupe to their flagship 560 Express Cruiser. They have an almost unique position in the industry as they concentrate solely on this specific sector of the boat leisure market and therefore tend to have great knowledge and innovation in the boats they produce.
