Broker Remarks
The well-known LM 27 needs no introduction - this hugely successful and well-built double ender has become a modern classic. A proper little motorsailer with good performance under sail or power. The shallow draft makes her ideal for exploring the creeks and rivers of the East Coast and beyond. This boat has been exceptionally well maintained, and a better example would be hard to find. "Stray" has the added advantage of a mast lowering kit and diesel cabin heating. She is well worth viewing. A berth on the river Medway is also available subject to separate negotiation.
Accommodation
Up to six berths in 2 cabins. Interior woodwork is teak trimmed. The Fore cabin has a V-berth which converts to a double, with an infill cushion.
he Saloon area has two settee berths each side of the central folding table. Both of these settee berths can make into double berths if required. Ample storage lockers throughout with additional wine cabinet. Approximately 6'+ headroom There also two additional berths in the enclosed cockpit.
In the wheelhouse is the helm position to starboard with wheel steering, helmsman's seat, engine controls and instrumentation. To port in the wheelhouse is the well-equipped galley with an opening counter top which reveals the stainless-steel gas cooker The doors leading to the cockpit, can be fully enclosed with the canopy to provide additional living space and there is ample seating for six around the folding cockpit table. Cabin comfort is provided by a Eberspacher diesel warm air heating system

Masthead rigged sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging new in 2012. Terylene running rigging. Headsail furling system. Three quarter length battened slab reefing mainsail with three reefs This yacht has also been fitted with a mast lowering systemthat enables the mast to be lowered whilst at sea.

Mechanical Systems:
Located under the cockpit 1980 Bukh three-cylinder 20hp marine diesel engine, last serviced January 2020 Electric start. Seawater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to fixed pitch three-bladed propeller. with rope cutter Single lever control. 115-litre fuel capacity giving approximately 350 miles range at 6 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7knots. Last out of water service March 2019.
Electrical Systems:
2 x 12-volt batteries 110AH , approximately 3 years old, charging from the engine alternator, 12-volt battery charger, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, plus immersion heater for hot water. It also has a separate battery management system fitted.

History:
Built in 1980 by LM Yachts to their own design. White GRP hull with blue style stripes. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to decks. Aft cockpit. Long keel. Keel hung rudder. Wheel steering. Self-draining gas bottle stowage locker. Stainless steel pulpit, pushpit, stanchions and guard wires. Self-draining anchor stowage locker. This yacht has been owned by the current owner for the past 14 years and has decided to sell due to health reasons. The yacht was last surveyed in 2005.
