Accommodation
The Moonraker 36 provides accommodation for four in two cabins, with an approximate headroom of 6ft.
In the forward saloon, there is a double berth on the port side, complete with under-berth storage and a wall-mounted TV positioned above.
On the starboard side, you'll find the galley, which includes a stainless-steel sink with a mixer tap, an electric oven and grill, a microwave, a 240V fridge, and shelving above the sink for storage.
Located opposite to the galley is a large storeroom.
This space benefits from excellent natural light, thanks to three forward-facing and three side-facing windows on both the port and starboard sides. Additional storage is available in the forepeak.
Ascending the saloon steps to the central wheelhouse, the helm position is located on the portside with engine controls, 240v freezer, and 240V fuse panel. Opposite the helm position is the washing machine. Access to the two Bedford engines is provided via the wheelhouse.
The aft cabin features a double berth with under-berth storage on the starboard side, complemented by a wall-mounted TV above. Additional storage is available, including a hanging locker and shelving.
The main heads compartment is also situated in the aft cabin and includes a marine toilet, a thermostatic mixer shower with a shower attachment, an integrated shower tray, and a single sink with cold water.
This cabin is well-lit, with three windows positioned to port, starboard, and across the stern of the vessel.
This vessel benefits from a Diesel cabin heater.

This Moonraker 36 is powered by twin 1970 Bedford, 6 Cylinder, naturally aspirated diesel engines with shafts leading to three bladed propellers. She has single lever controls. She has a maximum speed of approx. 16 knots and will cruise at 13 knots. These engines were last serviced four years ago. The engine hours are unknown.
Electrical Systems:
3 x 12V batteries (2 x engine and 2 x domestic) charging from engine alternators. There is a 240-volt ring main system with outlets in both cabins.

The Moonraker 36 Soft Rider, introduced in the early 1970s, was a popular British-built motor cruiser designed by Robert Tucker and produced by JCL Marine in Norfolk, England. As one of the pioneering models in the Moonraker range, it was constructed with a deep-vee hull, providing improved handling and stability, particularly in offshore conditions. Over the years, the Moonraker 36 has remained a sought-after classic, admired for its solid craftsmanship and timeless design.
This Vessel has a white semi-displacement GRP Hull and super structure, Stainless steel handrails and pulpit, blue cockpit enclosure, and white painted decks and a black rubber rubbing strake.
