Broker Remarks
This Albin Ballad has been in the same ownership for 23 years and has been a much-loved family cruiser; she is quite special as she has a wheel steering system onboard rather than the traditional tiller. This was installed professionally when the boat was new by Camper & Nicholsons; this really opens up the space in the cockpit, usually occupied by the long tiller, so it is excellent for cruising purposes.
The vendors are sadly retiring from sailing, so it is with a heavy heart that they are saying goodbye to their much-treasured Albin Ballad.
The boat has the benefit of having an engine replacement in 2012 with a Nanni N2 14hp diesel engine which was professionally installed and has been serviced annually by the Nanni agent; there is a complete log in the service book to back this up.
