The Albin Ballad is a capable 9 metre fin keeled yacht built in Sweden by Albin Marine. A fast hull with masthead rig, spacious saloon, separate heads compartment and twin berth bow cabin with overhead hatch, The Albin Ballad has accommodation for 5 in 2 cabins and is rewarding to sail either cruising or as a club racer.  Originally designed as a fast, seaworthy racer / cruiser, they have a reputation for good, predictable handling. Reasonable offers for this Albin Ballad will be considered.

Accommodation

Forward cabin with V double berth with storage under, overhead hatch and adjacent hanging locker. Reading lights above berths. Main battery switch under starboard bunk Bifold door for heads privacy plus further bifold door to saloon with bench settees with storage under, removeable folding saloon table and reading lights.
Forward facing chart table aft to port with main Furuno unit mounted on board to use either at chart table or positioned in companionway for use at cockpit. Quarter berth aft of chart table and galley to starboard. Engine access under the removeable companionway steps. LED interior lights and portlight curtains.

Comment

Albin Marine built 1,500 Albin Ballads between 1971 and 1982. After this the Ballad One-Design Association acquired the moulds and leased them to a number of Swedish yards to continue building a number of Ballad 30 yachts until 1998.
