Accommodation
The forepeak features a double V-berth over 6 feet in length, complemented by a generous standing area for changing. Ample storage is available throughout the cabin, with shelving and under-bunk lockers.
The en-suite heads are equipped with a sea toilet, sink, vanity unit, and shower, all set within a sleek, white moulded finish for easy maintenance. Hot water is provided by a Calorifier water heater and a 240v immersion.
Moving aft, the saloon features an offset passageway forward on the port side and a centrally positioned drop down table. A bench-style settee is located on the port side in front of the galley, while a U-shaped settee wraps around the table to starboard. The saloon offers ample storage with a variety of overhead compartments and under-settee lockers on both sides.
The galley provides all equipment and generous storage required to cater for a full crew. The galley features a double stainless-steel sink equipped with pressurized hot and cold water. The galley also includes a gimballed 2-burner gas oven and grill, a 12v fridge, and ample storage space.
A full-sized, forward-facing chart table is located to starboard at the aft end of the saloon, featuring convenient under-seat storage. The ship's switch panels and navigation equipment are easily accessible from the seated position. The table includes a spacious chart locker, along with a bosun's draw and additional storage locker.
Immediately aft of the chart table is an aft cabin, featuring a generous double berth over 6 feet in length and a practical standing area for dressing. The cabin offers a variety of storage options, including shelving, hanging lockers, and an additional under-seat locker for added convenience.
The main heads are located on the port side opposite the chart table. The heads include a shower area, sea toilet, sink, and vanity unit, all finished in an easy-to-clean white moulded design.
Again, located behind the heads compartment is another aft cabin, featuring a generous double berth over 6 feet in length and a practical standing area for dressing. This cabin also offers a variety of storage options, including shelving, hanging lockers, and an additional under-seat locker for added convenience.
This Bavaria 40 also benefits from a 300 Litre freshwater capacity, Eber cabin heater with outlets in the saloon, forepeak, and both rear cabins, TV/DVD Player and FM/CD Radio.
The companionway leads up to a large aft cockpit spacious enough to comfortably and safely accommodate a full crew during passage, with ample room for alfresco entertaining when at anchor.
The wheel is centrally positioned at the aft end of the cockpit, accompanied by a full-width bench seat for the helmsman. All engine and navigation instruments and controls are conveniently housed within the binnacle.

This Bavaria 40 has a Bermudan Masthead sloop rig, with a 2002 Selden aluminium deck stepped mast and boom, with stainless steel standing and running rigging was replaced in 2018 The yacht has a Furlex 300s furling headsail and an in-mast furling mainsail. All lines are led aft to the cockpit.

Mechanical Systems:
This Bavaria 40 has a single, 55HP 2002 4-cylinder Volvo Penta D2-55A diesel engine with morse controls. This engine is powering a Sail drive with a 3-blade fixed prop with a rope cutter. The Saildrive diaphragm was last changed in 2023, and the engine was last serviced in 2023 by the owner. Some service history is available.
This Volvo Penta D2-55A is supplied by a 150-litre capacity stainless fuel tank. The yacht will cruise at approximately 6 knots under engine and has a maximum speed of approximately 9 knots.
Electrical Systems:
