Broker Remarks
Based in Pwllheli North Wales, this is one of only a limited number of centre cockpit boats built by Bavaria. It is fully equipped for cruising with an excellent sail and electronics package. It has spacious accommodation for up to six, full standing headroom throughout and the design is particularly noted for its large rear cabin with central full size central bed. Marina berth at Pwllheli has been paid for up to April 2011.
Accommodation
Fore cabin with ‘V’ berth and stowage under, hanging lockers and storage shelving to both sides. Main cabin with saloon table and seating to both sides, 4 lockers, storage shelving and stowage behind and beneath. Chart table and seat with stowage for charts, shelf area for pilot books and hinged panels to give access to all wiring. Galley with generous cupboards and shelving, insulated cooling box with electrical refrigeration, gas cooker with oven and 2 burners, double s/s sink with water filter under. Fully pressurised H and C water system. Heads with integrated shower area that doubles as wet locker, extra port light to cockpit. Rear cabin with central double berth, seating to each side, hanging lockers to both sides. Anchor stowage locker with 20kg CQR anchor and 50M of 8mm chain, Lofrans 1000w anchor windlass. Separate locker for sails or ropes and fenders. Centre cockpit with fixed screen and large spray hood offering exceptional shelter. This includes an extension canopy to completely enclose the cockpit. Two large capacity lazarette lockers to the rear. Boarding platform on transom with ladder and shower unit.
Mechanical and Rigging
Designed by J & J Design, built by Bavaria Yachts in 2002 she was supplied new to the present owners by Network Yacht Brokers, and was commissioned and fitted out in Pwllheli. Factory fitted options include: deep lead keel, teak decks, bow thruster, extra battery and charger, holding tank, spring cleats, removable inner forestay with tensioner and fully battened mainsail. Volvo D2/55 diesel engine 55hp, with MS25S sail drive fitted with Bruntons 3 bladed Autoprop variable pitch (feathering) propeller and Ambassador rope cutter. Bowthruster with controls at steering binnacle. 230l (51 gal) fuel tank. 2 water tanks total 380l (85 gal). 2 x 140 amp/hr house batteries and 75amp/hr engine start battery. Pressurised H and C water system via calorifier in engine compartment (with immersion heater). Eberspacher D4 warm air heating system. Seldon aluminium mast, boom, gas rod kicker and backstay tensioner. Seldon roller reefing to genoa, three point slab reefing to fully battened main, lazy jacks and sail cover. All principal halyards run back to cockpit. Visiball radar reflector and Glomex TV aerial at masthead. 3 x mast steps. Genoa with UV strip. Fully battened main with additional 3rd reefing point. Storm jib. Tri-radial cruising chute with snuffler.

McMurdo EPIRB serviced until 2015. Offshore flare pack, 2 lifebuoys with lights, dan buoy and rescue sling. 3 x harness points in cockpit and jackstays on deck. Cockpit table. 3 x general dry powder extinguishers and automatic extinguisher to engine bay. Gas alarm with 2 x sensors. Winter cover to cockpit. Boat hook, 8 x fenders with warps. Flat screen TV and digibox. FM radio and CD player. 4 x additional brass reading lights. 2 x Brass clocks and barometer. Old antifouling was removed in 2010 with the hull primed & re-antifouled. All new anodes fitted. Jackobs galvanised shore cradle available but not included in sale price. This is fully adjustable & breaks down for transport.
