2016 Beneteau Oceanis 41.1
This Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 was built in July 2016 but not commissioned until 2017. She has two owners, including the current owner, from new. She offers great performance at sea. She looks and is a very stylish and offers great accommodation. The Oceanis 41.1 has a sail plan that guarantees excellent balance under sail. Equipped with a brand new fully battened mainsail this cruiser promised uncompromised sailing at optimum speeds. The interior has a very contemporary feel with a great layout. She is easy to sail with the fully battened mainsail, furling genoa, bow thruster, electric anchor windlass with a hand remote control. She feels and is very luxurious. The owners have maintained the yacht to a very high standard and updated lots of the onboard equipment. Well worth an early viewing.
Accommodation
The Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 offers seven berths in 3 cabins and the saloon. The interior wood work is Alpi Mahogany with parquet type laminated floors and "Commando Natural" fabric upholstery and grey fabric panels throughout.
Forward Cabin has headroom of 1,88 m with a double island bed which measures approximately 2,12 x 1,50 x 1,25 m. It has one cupboard: ½ hanging locker, ½ shelves with storage under the bed. The are open storage compartments along the hull with one closed locker. It has two opening deck hatches with blinds and mosquito nets and two hull port holes.It has a slatted bedbase with a split mattress. Mirror above the berth.
Forward Heads has headroom of 1,81 m. There is a electric flush, serviced 2021, toilet with 60 litre holding tank. A moulded pedestal basin with pressurised hot and cold water with mixer tap and pulls out to be a shower. It has a mirror and cabinet. There is an opening deck hatch with mosquito blind.
Saloon. Aft of the forward cabin is a large saloon with an U-shaped settee to starboard with a central saloon table. Opposite is a single settee which has the navigation table at one end and the galley at the other. The saloon headroom is1,93 m The saloon table has a folding leaf with Central and side storage areas and bottle holder. There are two Coachroof panoramic windows with curtains, 2 hull portholes with curtain and 2 opening portholes on coaming in side windows. LED indrect lighting in saloon. The saloon has lots of underfloor storage.
The yacht has been fitted with a Eberspacher D5 diesel cabin heating system with outlets to all cabins and heads. This was last serviced in 2021 when a new glow plug was fitted. The saloon has a large 32" flat screen TV fitted .
Chart Table: The chart table has a lifting lid with moulded wood fiddle. A switch panel on bulkhead for access to electrical functions, a reading light and 2 USB ports
Galley The Galley is located on the Port side aft of the port settee. It has 1,94 m headroom and comprises of an L-shaped galley with grey laminated worktop
with a Stainless steel sink and a rectangular basin with a pressurised mixer tap with hot and cold water. The galley has a 2 burners gas hob with stainless steel oven and grill with a stainless steel protection handrail and 220V microwave. It has a 190 litre front and top opening fridge with 10 litre freezer compartment. It also has lost of storage and opening portholes.
Starboard Aft Head has 1,85 m headroom with access through saloon and the starboard aft cabin. It has a separate shower - 1 Mixer tap hot water / Cold water, manual heads with 80 litre holding tank and a moulded basin with sink and hot and cold water tap and storage cabinet.
Starboard aft cabin has 1.92m headroom with a double bed measuring approximately 2,07 x 1,47 x 1,11 m. It has a split mattress with slatted bedbase. It has an access door to starboard aft head, jack and jill door, with lots of storage space under the berth and in a hanging locker and several portholes making it light and airy.
Port aft cabin is a mirror of the starboard cabin but with no access door to the heads. Split mattress with slatted bed base.
Cockpit:
The companion way steps take you up to the large open cockpit that has a number of storage lockers including, two deep lazarettes, two cockpit bench lockers and gas locker.
It has a centerline folding GRP/wood cockpit table. It has folding helm seats and an electrically operated transom which drops down to make a large bathing platform with a hot and cold water shower. The cockpit has LED mood lighting and benefits form a full cockpit enclosure.
Mechanical and Rigging
Mechanical Systems:
Yanmar 4JH45 4 cylinder, 45Hp diesel engine with 477 hours as at 9th March 2022 located under the companionway stapes Freshwater cooled. Morse controls. Saildrive to a 3 blade folding propeller, new 2019. Rope cutter. 1 Plastic fuel tank that holds approx. 220 litres. Yacht will cruise at 6 knots and has a maximum speed of 9 knots. Engine last professionally serviced in May 2021 Through tunnel SidePower SE80 4HP bowthruster.
Spars and Sails:
The yachts has a Bermudan 9/10 fractional rig with deck stepped anodised aluminium mast and boom with two aft-swept spreaders and original stainless steel wire rigging. It has a fully battened mainsail with three reefs, a furling genoa with deck mounted drum and a furling drifter with deck mounted drum. The mainsail is set on a fixed composite arch. Genoa cars are adjustable form the cockpit. All lines, except the topping lift, are led aft back to the cockpit.

History & Construction:
The Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 was built in 2016 and commission in 2017. She has a white gelcoat hull with white superstructure including a mainsheet arch, teak cockpit sole and slatted helm seats. She has a deep cast iron fin keel with twin steering wheels. She has an electrically operate transom/bathing platform which is controlled from the helm.
She spent the first part of her life in the Solent She has been owned by the current owner since 2020 and has been used on the UK East Coast..
She was last out of the water over the winter of May 2021 when her anodes were last changed and she was antifouled. She was washed off and anodes checked also in November 2021. The engine has been maintained and regularly professionally serviced.
The owner is only selling due to work commitments he doesn't have time to sail as often as he would like. This vessel is on the British Ships Part 1 register.
