Mechanical and Rigging
GRP hull, deck, superstructure and wheelhouse roof,solid teak around wheelhouse windows. This motor cruiser has been solidly built by Camper and Nicholson, as can be seen upon inspection, and displaces 26 tons! With a semi-displacement hull her top speed is approximately 17 knots but the current owner cruises her at 1500 rpm giving her a speed of 10 knots and consumption of 6 gallons per hour.
2 Ford Sabre diesels developing 250hp each and driving 3 bladed propellers on (immense) shafts.
Peugeot genset thought to be 6Kva.
24v (twin 200amp/hr) 12v battery system ( 5 batteries in total) charged by engine alternators and mains battery charger.
