Broker Remarks
This is an extremely well kept Channel Island 22 which has the advantage of a major update in 2007. Ideal small coastal cruiser, but also capable of crossing the channel under the right weather conditions, suitable for creek exploring and capable of taking the ground with her beaching legs. Viewing is highly recommended.
Accommodation
The accomodation had a major refit in 2007 which included new headlining, new foam and upholstery, new interior lighting, new Houdini foreward hatch, new windows, new sea toilet, new pressurised water pipes, new cockpit cover. Port and starboard settee berths with infil to create a large double berth, storage under the settees plus full length shelving. Galley with 2 burber gas cooker and grill. Saloon table which can also be used in the cockpit. Heads in separate compartment with sink. Cockpit with folding helm and crew seat plus further seating aft which can also be converted into a double berth. Swimming platform on the transom.
Mechanical and Rigging
80hp Ford Dolphin diesel which has been well maintained over the years. Cylinder head removed 2002 and new valve guides and injectors fitted. Shaft and stern seal replaced 2004. Stainless steel exhaust manifold replaced 2005. New starter motor and cables 2005. Skin fittings and stopcocks replaced 2006. Engine professionally serviced annually. 40 gallons diesel in 2 tanks, consumption 1 gallon per hour at 8 knots, maximum speed 12 knots. Rope cutter fitted to shaft, 3 bladed propeller. 2 x 105 amp hour batteries.

Fixed and hand held VHF, Magellan GPS, depth sounder. Steering compass Danforth anchor with chain and warp, stainless steel pulpit, teak grabrails, beaching legs, 2 fire extinguishers, new foghorn, 1 manual whale bilge pump and 1 automatic electric bilge pump. Various warps and fenders. Navigation lights. Windscreen wiper motors and arms renewed 2007. Seago 230 inflatable new 2006 may be available under separate negotiation.
