1976 Tomahawk 25 for sale in Kent.

This Tomahawk 25 built in 1976, is a very well-built family cruiser. The Tomahawk 25 offers excellent accommodation with one double forward cabin and four berths in the saloon. This boat also benefits from a newly replaced engine in 2018. The owner is selling due to not having enough time to use the boat.

Accommodation

The Tomahawk offers a total of six berths in two cabins. The owner’s cabin is forward with a double berth and under berth storage. The forward owner’s cabin also contains the marine toilet on the starboard side.

The main saloon enjoys standing headroom throughout and has booth seating with a central drop-down table creating a double berth. The Galley runs along the port side of the saloon with single stainless-steel sink with manually pumped cold water, a two-burner gas hob, grill, and oven.

Located at the aft of the saloon this boat has two quarter berths on both port and starboard side. The companionway steps lead up to a large aft cockpit with bench seating to either side, tiller steering and engine controls at the rear of the vessel.

History & Construction:

Designed by Alan Hill, this monohull sailing boat was built in 1976 by Marine Construction Ltd (Marcon) of Southampton. The GRP hull is white with a grey superstructure and there is a teak cockpit floor insert. The cast iron fin keel together with skeg-hung rudder ensure good stability and tracking. This, combined with ‘Dutchman’ mainsail handling and roller furling jib makes the boat easy to sail short-handed. The vessel was last out of the water in September 2023 when she was antifouled.
