This Contessa 26 offers four-berths in two cabins. Featuring a traditional long keel with a keel hung rudder with tiller steering with a masthead Bermudan sloop rig. Accommodation
The Contessa 26 provides accommodation for four people across two cabins. The forward cabin features a double V-berth with an infill and under-berth storage. Moving aft, you'll find the heads compartment situated between the forward cabin and the main saloon. It includes a marine sea toilet to starboard with storage behind. Opposite the heads compartment to port is a hanging storage locker.
The main saloon features settees on both port and starboard sides. Behind the backrests, you'll find shelves and lockers for additional storage, with more space available beneath the seating.
The galley is situated on the starboard side, featuring a single stainless-steel sink with manually pumped cold water, a Origo 1500 single burner gas hob, a work surface, and racks for cutlery and a crockery drawer.
Opposite the galley to port is a chart table with chart storage with shelf storage.
Stepping out of the companionway, you'll find a spacious aft cockpit. The cockpit features bench seating to both port and starboard sides, along with tiller steering and navigational aids, including a Chart plotter, depth gauge, and speed log, and engine controls positioned at the stern.

This Contessa 26 has a masthead Bermudan sloop rig, with a deck stepped Z Spars aluminium mast and boom, with stainless steel standing rigging. The vessel has a Hank-on headsail and a slab reefing mainsail, with an adjustable backstay, and kicker. The standing rigging, mast, boom and running rigging were all replaced in 2005.

This Contessa 26 has a 2003 single 10hp, 2-cylinder Nani 2-4 Seco diesel engine, powering a shaft driven 2 bladed fixed propellers. The engine was last serviced by the owner in 2023. This engine hours are unknown. The Nani engine is supplied by a 40-litre capacity fuel tank with Morse controls. This yacht will cruise at approximately 4 knots and has an approximate maximum speed of 6 knots.

History and Construction
This is a lovely cruiser racer, was built by Jeremy Rogers and was designed by Doug Peterson in 1971. The current owner has enjoyed the vessel for the last 2 and half years and is now looking to move sell due to buying another boat.
This Contessa 26 features a white GRP hull and superstructure with white non-slip painted surfaces, self-draining cockpit, stainless steel stations and pulpit. Its stability is ensured by a traditional long keel with a keel hung rudder with tiller steering.
