Broker Remarks
A very young example of the Cornish Crabber 22 that has been under the same ownership since new, little used, but clearly well maintained with just 80 hours on the engine.
The Cornish Crabber 22 is an ideal small family boat for coastal and estuary cruising, and will sleep four in surprising comfort for a boat of this size. The interior is very nicely furnished with teak joinery throughout and the designers have used the available space with great flare and imagination and it is quite extraordinary how much they have shoe-horned into 22 feet.
This is a boat for a small family with a double berth up front and a hidden toilet! The chart table hides the two ring cooker and grill with a sink alongside. The side berths are long and wide and there is plenty of stowage. This boat is a lovely blend of the traditional on the outside and a modern airy interior. There is plenty of space in the cockpit for three or four adults with comfortable seating and a self draining well. All lines lead back to the cockpit so she is easy to sail single or light handed. With the sails up she is easy to handle but fun as well.
Each Cornish Crabber is still built in the factory in Rock, Cornwall to each individual owner’s specification and 'Nutmeg' has a navy blue hull with an off white waterline with ‘parchment’ non-slip decks. She was copper coated below the waterline in 2010
Now ashore for the winter at Noss Marina, Dartmouth, just around the corner from our office.
