The Birchwood Crusader 340 Aft Cabin has a single diesel Yanmar 4LHA-DTE 190HP engine. it has 4 cylinders and 577 hours run time as at 8th September 2022. The engine is indirectly cooled, shaft driven with a 3-blade fixed propeller and rope cutter. Hydraulic wheel controls with a bow and stern thruster. Trim tabs and a total fuel capacity of 414L between 2 stainless steel tanks. The Birchwood has a cruising speed of 8kn and max speed of 18kn. The engine was last serviced in March 2021.
Electrical Systems:
4 x 12v batteries, (2 x domestic, 1 x engine start and 1 for the sternthruster), charging via the engine alternator. The domestic and engine start batteries were new in 2021. It has a Victron battery management system fitted. Its 240v systems via a shore power connection, include ring mains, immersion heater, battery charger.
