A super little boat suitable for a variety of uses from fishing to sailing to weekending with the children or to just pottering around for the day. Immensely strong hull, loads of deck space with high bulwarks for her size making her very safe for children. Emma is in need of a thorough spring clean as her owner has been unwell for the past 2 seasons and has now decided to sell her. In the two sleeping areas she is bone dry and mould free, her hull area is also looking good and it is just the topsides that need a thorough cutting and polishing to bring her back, new running rigging, probably new batteries and a new water tank (previous one perished), the decktread has also worn through and should be replaced. She has been priced with this work in mind and also has a marina berth available if required.
Accommodation
Forepeak with V berth in 2 singles and toilet underneath starboard berth. Main deck with opening hatch and steps down to 2 single berths, both 6' 4" long. Wheelhouse with engine access through the floor, cooker and washbasin.
Mechanical and Rigging
Built by Northshore in 1978 and commissioned in 1979. GRP hull deck and superstructure with cast iron encapsulated long keel. Wheel steering. Volvo MD11C 25hp 2 cylinder diesel with shaft drive to a 3 bladed propeller fitted with a rope cutter. Fuel consumption approx 1/2 gph. 35 gallon stainless steel fuel tank 2 X 12V batteries (1 new July 2010) Domestic battery US. Engine starting handle Ketch rigged with alloy mast, mizzen and booms plus spinnaker pole. Genoa and halyard winches Mainsail...102 sq.ft . Genoa...102 sq.ft. Mizzen...41 sq.ft (all Tan).
