Broker Remarks
An opportunity to own one of the very few Giannetti 46’s. This vessel has had the two owners from new. It would make an ideal liveaboard as well as a great pleasure cruiser The saloon boasts a fantastic social area. She also has a generously sized cockpit and extended flybridge. She has a fully equipped galley including kitchen utensils, pots and pans cutlery, crockery etc. The last survey was completed in 2016. Current Liveaboard berth available.
Accommodation
The Gianetti 46 offers 6 berths in 3 cabins. There is a large owners cabin forward with en-suite heads with shower and washbasins. Aft of the owner's cabin, to port, is a cabin with twin berths and opposite a cabin with two single bunk beds. There is also a second head with shower and washbasin.
Walking up three steps takes you to the saloon area with a fully equipped galley to port, with a gas hob with 3 burners, microwave, refrigerator, pressurised water system, heated via engine and immersion heater, with 800-litre water capacity.
The helms position is opposite and also has the steps leading up to the large extended flybridge. Aft of the helms position is the large saloon with an L-shaped settee with upholstery finished in blue. Heated throughout via an Eberspacher diesel heating system.
The patio style doors open on to the aft teak covered cockpit area. There is a large table with four directors chairs and 2 sundeck chairs. There are steps leading down from the aft cockpit to a large teak covered bathing platform.
Mechanical and Rigging
The boat is powered by twin 1989 Caterpillar 3208 375hp turbocharged diesel engines with approximately 1769 hours and 1795 hours, (last serviced November 2019) shaft drive to two 4 bladed bronze propellers, bowthruster and trim tabs. Single lever control, 1600 litre fuel capacity in two stainless steel tanks. Giving a cruising speed of approximately 23 knots and a maximum speed of approximately 28 knots. trim tabs, new hydraulic system fitted 2019. Last out of water maintenance 2019 antifoul and anodes.
2 x 12-volt domestic batteries, 2 x 12-volt engine start batteries, charging from the engine alternators, 12-volt battery charger. Shorepower connection with 240-volt ring main. 1 x 12-volt battery for generator start, which is a Diem Genset 2.5KVa with 576 hours

Semi displacement
The hull is white GRP construction with white superstructure non-slip moulded decks, teak-laid cockpit and bathing platform. Extended flybridge. Owned by the current owner for the last 5 years, selling as he is not getting the use from it. Two previous owners from new. Last out of the water at Gillingham Marina when she was antifouled and anodes changed 2019. This vessel has an air-draft of 3.5m
