The Rasmus 35 was designed by leading Swedish designer of elephant yachts of the 1960s Ollie Enderlein. 760 yachts were made between 1967 and 1978. The name “Rasmus” is the God of Winds in Germany. the deign of the Rasmus 35 was way ahead of its time. It was the first sailing yacht in the world with a windscreen which makes her centre cockpit very well protected whilst keeping her elegant lines. This was in fact the blueprint for the Hallberg-Rassy concept.
The first two Rasmus were built entirely of mahogany and each took a year to construct. From hull number three both the hull and the superstructure were made of GRP
The Rasmus 35 also has a powerful engine, these important basic points, together with the timeless lines makes this yacht still pleasing today and she will also be as attractive in decades from now, a timeless classic In other words this is a genuine Halberg Rassy.
This Rasmus 35 has had a significant amount of money spend her in the past few years which has restored her to her for a glory. The current owner has continued this restoration, but due to ill health now has to sell. Well worth viewing if you love traditional long keeled yachts.
