A Hanse 315, an extremely popular performance cruiser and one of the best models that Hanse have ever made.
She points and sails extremely well for a boat of it's size. The Germanic design offers exceptional accommodation below deck and can berth 4/6 people and she is bright and airy with full standing headroom, she presents much larger than you would expect for a 31foot yacht. When the Hanse 315 was first launched she received great reviews from the boating media and was also nominated for European Boat of the Year. An excellent deck layout allows easy single handed sailing and her roomy cockpit and easy access transom are features that help make this a great family boat also.

This yacht is a well maintained example of the Hanse 315 and she stands out from the crowd with her cool blue hull and double white waterlines. Her current owner has made a number of changes which have helped improved her performance ability and presentation. In recent years she has benefitted from a spinnaker pole and adjustable mast padeye, Crusader triradel spinnaker and rigging, Harken mainsail windward sheeting tack, 2 Lewmar genoa track cars, Mouse sails 140% roller furling genoa endurance series radial-cut cruise laminate genoa sunstrip and foam luff, Speedseal impeller plate cover and Coppercoat anti-fouling applied in 2012. She also has her engines serviced every spring time.

Owners Remarks
I bought 'Cool Blue' (previously 'Gliding On') in 2011 from the original owner. She has been excellently maintained since then with a number of extras added to improve her sail ability, performance and handling.
She has the option of a self tacking jib which facilitates simple single handed sailing. 'Cool Blue' has been raced in the Conwy Yacht Club Cruiser series and has won a number of trophies over the years. She has also cruised successfully to The Isle of Man and round Anglesey. The copper coating (2012) requires a single lift in the year for a hull jet wash and anode change and she shows no signs of any problems below the waterline.
