REDUCED - 'Jasam', Hunter Channel 245, built in 2009 to a David Thomas design. With her comfortable accommodation and sleek but robust lines, her high ballast ratio, powerful inboard engine, (outboard version also available), fractional rig, and internal GRP module matrix making a very strong monocoque structure, the Channel 245 is an extremely stiff and safe vessel. Lying Conwy Marina, North Wales
Hunter Channel 245 ombines stunning speed for her size, together with safety and comfort in both the fin keel and the twin fin versions. The Channel 245 has more room below than many larger yachts, and achieves category B status. She has all the British Hunter attributes of high standard of build, ease of handling, and a sailing performance combined with many new features to appeal to sailors of all levels. The David Thomas designed Channel 245 adds a different dimension to cruising and racing, and will appeal to all ages.
Since the price of the boat was reduced prior to the North Wales Boat Show the owner has spent in excess of £430 on a full engine service and a similar amount on sand blasting the keels back to bare metal, having them etching primed, marine primed and then anti fouled so collectively at the current price the boat is very good value.
