Broker Remarks
Hunter Channel 27 for sale. A quality British-built boat, she offers a good turn of speed and is easy to handle short or single handed, sails really well and is surprisingly quick for her size. Can sleep up to six crew in two double and two single berths, and yet is only 27 feet. BLUE MIST is a very well-presented factory completed example of this twin fin keeled cruising yacht. 2-bladed Brunton Autoprop fitted which assists manoeuvring in marinas. A 48 litre fuel tank has also been fitted which improves the overall range.
The Hunter Pilot 27 was designed by David Thomas for British Hunter and is one of the smallest true deck saloon sailing yachts, and thanks to Hunter's efficient 'twin fin' bulbed bilge keels performs well. Hunter resolutely refused to call these boats bilge-keelers, preferring the term 'twin fin' to emphasise the performance. The two keels are asymmetric, and angled, to provide lift when heeled.
