Broker Remarks
British built in 2000 by Hunter Boats to an award-winning design by David Thomas, ‘Hexie’ is a very cleverly configured fast estuary and open water speed boat with cruising speeds of up to 20 knots under her Mariner 50HP outboard. The innovative three-keel twin tunnel hull shape reduces wash and is renowned for its stability and fuel efficiency. When cornering she does so on a remarkably even keel, compared with more conventional motor boats. With good cabin headroom and a light, airy feel to the interior, she has been generally well maintained though the brightwork may benefit from some extra attention to present at its best. This is a well-equipped and fun motor boat for up to four hands, of a size and power equally suited to inland waterways, river or coastal cruising.
Accommodation
The forward seats in the cockpit swivel. There are fixed seats aft in the cockpit with cushions. The Saloon has two 2m+ berths which, we understand, could be adapted in future to accept an infill to create a double berth. Table locates in a swivel post at the forward end of the saloon.
