Broker Remarks

This is a very clean example of a Hunter Legend 27, she has been lovingly maintained over the years by her current and previous owners, her condition is excellent throughout.
The most recent upgrade has been the replacement of the sail drive seal, completed in October 2016, she had new sails in 2014 by Ratseys Sails and they are still in excellent condition, there has also been replacement canvas work and the addition of some new running rigging. The standing rigging was also professionally checked and tuned in 2016!
This Legend 27 benefits from the bigger Yanmar 2YM 15 engine compared to the standard Yanmar 1 GM 10, this gives that extra turn of speed when needed under power and almost certainly was an optional extra from new.
The Hunter Legend 27 has the shallow draft fin keel. This allows you to navigate estuaries, rivers and creek crawling but does not give away any performance as the center of gravity is lower in effect acting like a bulb on the end of a traditional fin keel. The wing keel points surprisingly high compared to a bilge keel and tracks along nicely, especially downwind giving excellent stability and some lift.
The Hunter Legend 27 offers superb accommodation for a yacht of this size with and huge double aft cabin and very spacious saloon & heads.

Accommodation

It is hard to believe you are aboard a 27 footer when you consider below decks. Everything is big including the seats you sit on and the entrances to cabins and heads. The headroom is 6'2" at the main hatch which is phenomenal in a boat of this size.

She is classed as a 6 berth but is ideally suited for 4 adults.

Large aft cabin with double berth and dressing seat. Good headroom and a clever opening hatch to cockpit for natural light and ventilation.

The saloon has a central drop leaved table that can 6 persons with ease. The settees are very wide and comfortable and designed to be used as an additional two single berths. The fore peak double berth is completed using an additional infill cushion.

The galley is to starboard and features a stainless steel sink with both hot and cold pressurised water. There is a two burner alcohol hob & an alcohol oven.

Opposite the galley is the large heads with marine toilet and holding tank and small sink with pressurised water.
