The Hunter Legend 340 offers an exceptional combination of comfort and functionality. The interior design maximises the space giving a bigger than average aft owners cabin. The saloon with its folding table allows 6 to sit in comfort. She has full head height throughout and is particularly light and airy. The heads are large with a Corian sink, shower and electric sea toilet. The galley is nicely laid out with a large oven,2 x burners and grill. The refrigerator is the largest we have seen on this size of yacht. Added to this her pressurised hot water system and Eberspacher hot air heating system, the Hunter 340 gives a level of cruising comfort that will keep the most demanding crew happy.
Along with her high comfort levels, she is also a very capable passagemaker. Her three-cylinder Yanmar, which has been regularly serviced, is smooth and quiet. The wing shoal keel gives her good performance and her sails are in good condition. The standing rigging was new in 2016 and she benefits from a full cockpit tent.
Accommodation
The Hunter Legend 340 sleeps7 in two cabins and the saloon. The foreward cabin is a large double with hanging locker. The large aft owners cabin has stowage and full head heigth . The saloon port berth makes into a double and the starboard seat is a full length single.
The heads has a sink with shower and an electric heads. The galley has a large American oven with burners and grill. The fridgeis particularly big.
