Broker Remarks
The Hunter Legend 36 is a fantastic model from Lhurs Marine Ltd. Her performance is great in all conditions as she will happily sail at six knots upwind and six/seven knots on a reach in 20 knots. There is only a need to drop the mainsail traveller and play the mainsheet in over 20 knots.
The Hunter Legend 36 is comfortably sailed single-handed as the mainsheet traveller is on the stern gantry aft of the cockpit, the winches are close to hand and sail controls are also led aft to the cockpit making life easier when trimming and reefing.
The Hunter Legend 36 is great at anchor or in harbour, the arch is perfect to house a bimini or full cockpit cover which this example has both of. There is ample cockpit locker stowage which is easily accessible so you never feel as though you are struggling for useful storage space or overcrowding the internal space with gear.
The external space and interior of this yacht is spacious beyond needs and will often be the boat that holds the after dinner drink occasions with friends and family.
This Hunter Legend 36 has been in the same ownership since 2010, her owners have used her as a coastal cruiser for themselves and their family. They have regular trips with their children and grandchildren for extended periods of time, the boat is comfortable for more than four guests.

Owners Remarks:
As a family we have had a wonderful time sailing Mollie Louise particularly once we had moved her from her birth in Grimsby to that in the Mayflower Marina in Plymouth. It has allowed us to sail along the Devon and Cornish coast. We have not crossed the channel but she is more than capable of so doing. The bilge keel has simplified exploration of estuaries while not detracting from her stability or performance into wind. She sails beautifully even in light winds and is very stable and responsive. The cruising shoot has also enhanced her down wind speeds. The cockpit is large, with plenty of seating with cushions if required and the depth of seating makes it a very safe boat in which to sail even for children. The dingy hoist we installed has made using the dingy much easier and safer, thus again better for children and adults to use the dingy with oars or outboard. My son and his partner have sailed her with kayaks on the fore deck! We hope new owners will have as much fun and pleasure sailing her.
