'Theodora' is a nice example of the rare Island Packet 29. These robust boats are highly respected for their build quality and attention to detail. There is nothing on board that doesn't have a purpose, and hasn't been thought about very carefully. The galley is well equipped with an efficient work space and the interior joinery is all teak, with teak and holly sole and cream velour upholstery.

This Island Packet 29 has a distinctive cream hull with contrasting red canvas sail cover and sprayhood.  Her 18hp Yanmar diesel engine was last serviced in May 2014 and gives a cruising speed of 5 knots.

The deck is well thought out and the cockpit steering has an excellent unimpaired view. The spray hood has been refurbished this year.

She will sleep seven in three double and one single berth in three cabins including the saloon and has Eberspacher cabin heating throughout.  The rack and pinion wheel steering is, in the owners words 'bullet proof'!

Under her second ownership since new the current owners have sailed her for 13 years.  The owners say 'She sails easily with long keel.  Reasonable to windward.  Manoerverabilty good with balanced rudder.  Comfortable to live in.  Capacious for length. Spacious cockpit.'

Owners Remarks: The boat was originally kept in Majorca from 1991 to 2001 by its first owner. From 2001 we have kept 'Theodora' on the River Dart. We have used her regularly but not intensively and cruised between Chichester and the River Fal and across to the Channel Islands and the Brittany Coast. She sails easily with long keel.  Reasonable to windward.  Manoerverabilty good with balanced rudder.  Comfortable to live in.  Capacious for length. Spacious cockpit. bimini in summer. Regular engine , rigging, sail and structural servicing and repair.  Lifted out onto hard standing each winter
