This is a well-equipped and updated example of this popular flybridge type cruiser. The Jeanneau Merry Fisher 925 provides good closed accommodation with the option of a flybridge for those warmer days. They are well suited to our climate and have good sea keeping qualities combined with good performance. Last surveyed in 2014. She has just been launched following a period ashore to be antifouled and hull polished. Her engine has also recently been serviced.
Accommodation
The accommodation offers five berths in three cabins.
In the fore cabin, a double berth is offset to port with a seat and hanging locker to, 2 hanging lockers starboard. Single cabin to starboard. Heads compartment opposite to port with vanity unit with hot and cold water with pull out shower attachment. A sea toilet with holding tank.
Steps up to the main saloon with helm position to starboard with single lever control and full engine and navigation instrumentation. U-shaped dinette to port with a table that drops to form a double berth and one seat converting to a co-pilots position with chart table.
The Galley aft to starboard with a sink with hot and cold water, a two burner gas hob, refrigerator and microwave. The galley worktops have storage and cupboards underneath. This vessel has curtains and upholstered throughout. The saloon upholstery has just been replaced (February 2018). The vessel benefits from Eberspacher Diesel cabin Heating.
Full interior lighting. Sliding glass door to the large self-draining cockpit. There are steps up to flybridge with helm position with controls and seating. New Flybridge and aft cockpit covers fitted in 2015.
LED lighting throughout except for the anchor light, with festoon bulb in the heads.
Mechanical and Rigging
Located under the saloon floor is a Volvo KAMD300 285hp six cylinder turbo diesel engine. There are two wheel steering positions. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger that has recently been cleaned and serviced. Shaft drive to fixed four blade bronze propeller. Single lever EDC controls and full engine instrumentation. She has a cruising speed of 20 knots and a maximum speed of 24 knots. 400 litres fuel capacity. The engine has had continual professional servicing and has completed 1013 hours as at 24th May 2018. Bow thruster with dual station controls.
Turbo charger overhauled and serviced 2017.
Supercharger overhauled and serviced, with new clutch 2018
Alternator charging to three 12 volt batteries in three banks, 1 x engine, 1 x domestic and 1 x Bowrthruster. 12 volt and 240 volt distribution panels. 240 volt shore power. Battery charges. Immersion heater.
