A lovely Scandinavian motor sailer. “Josephine” is a very good example of this well designed, well constructed and very popular offshore cruising yacht. The interior design has been well thought out and has many innovative ideas to maximise the available space. She gives the impression of a much larger vessel. A Bombard 2.4m inflatable dinghy is also available by separate negotiation (Ł300).
Accommodation
Interior finished in mahogany. Carpets and curtains. 5 berths across 2 cabins. Fore-cabin with double v-berth, in-fill and ample storage beneath and folding door to saloon. Saloon with 2 settee berths, one making a double. Storage above in cupboards and below berths. Centre table. Heads to port with Jabsco sea toilet (new 2001), wash basin with h/held shower. Teak grating over shower tray. Pressurised cold water. Hanging locker to starboard with fitted shelves. Wheelhouse/galley, with helmsman’s seat, internal wheel and chart table in front of wheel. Additional chart area above galley. Engine control by wheel, engine control panel. Separate switch and fuse panel. Instruments over companionway. Opening skylight over helm position. Galley comprises Plastimo Atlantic cooker (2 burners, oven and grill), stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water and filter, Isotherm fridge (new 2001). Cockpit – seating for 6, with lockers underneath. Folding cockpit table to seat 6. Cockpit cushions. Tiller and cockpit engine controls. Cockpit canopy (new 1997); winter cockpit cover.
Mechanical and Rigging
GRP hull deck and superstructure. Hull epoxied 1997. Bilge keels (cast iron – epoxy-coated) with semi-balanced rudder on a short skeg. Fully enclosed wheelhouse with internal wheel steering and galley area. Builder: LM glasfiber a/s, 6640 Lunderskov, Denmark. Designer: LM glasfiber a/s. Hull Number: 87280255 Volvo Penta 2003 28hp (diesel). Saildrive with a 3-bladed fixed propeller (Seal replaced 2004). Diesel tank: 140 litres (stainless steel). Water tank: 140 litres (stainless steel). 12 volt electrical system, comprising: alternator charging to 1 x 80Ah start battery and 110 Ah domestic battery. 12A Lucas battery charger. 240 volt AC shore power system, with RCD and circuit breaker panel. 2 x 240 volt outlets in wheelhouse and saloon. Aluminium mast and boom. Fractional rig. Telescopic whisker pole. Furling main sail (Bamar behind mast) and roller reefing headsail. Standing rigging all replaced in 2004. Mainsail - Arun Sails (1991). Furling Genoa - Williams Sails (1987). Storm Trysail - Seahorse Sails.

S/s folding bathing ladder at stern. 2 x Lewmar halyard winches, with jammers on mast (1997). 2 x Anderson self-tailing sheet winches in cockpit. Self-draining gas locker, with 2 CampingGaz bottles. Flag staff and ensign. Boathook. Warps and fenders.
