Accommodation
The Hunter Legend 29.5 offers 6 berths in one cabin. Forward is a V shaped double berth that is separated from the saloon by a curtain, with storage below the berth. Aft of the forward berth is the saloon with a large Oval table with folding leaves that gives the saloon a nice social area, and settee berths to port and starboard. To port is a well equipped galley with 2 burner cooker and oven and icebox. Aft of the galley is a large double berth. To starboard is heads with a Jabsco marine toilet, vanity unit with shower. Upholstery finished in blue velour, curtains and carpet throughout.
Mechanical and Rigging
Mechanical Systems:
The Hunter Legend 29.5 is powered by a Yanmar 2GM 20F 18hp 2 cylinder inboard diesel engine (last serviced March 2015 by the owner) fuel capacity of 80 litres, shaft drive to a fixed 3 bladed propeller with rope cutter.
Electrical Systems:
2 x 12 volt batteries, charging from the engine alternator 240 volt battery charger. 240 volt ring main and immersion heater installed.
Spars & Sails:
Sloop with fractional rig, deck stepped mast, stainless steel standing rigging (2005). Sail design incorporates a large-roach, fully-battened mainsail along with a small roller furling jib for easy sail-handling. Swept back spreaders and outboard shrouds allow superior strength and eliminates the need for a back-stay. For easy sail-handling, the boat comes with self-tailing winches, line organizers and triple rope clutches.
