Accommodation
Double V berth with infill in forward cabin.
Two single berths in saloon.
Folding saloon table and carpeted throughout with 6' 1" headroom.
Fitted with a Jabsco marine toilet and slide away hand basin.
Cabin heating provided by a Wallas 1300 kerosene heater system.
Galley:
The galley is situated on the port side and is equipped with a Plastimo Neptune 2000 two burner gas cooker and grill.
Also equipped with good storage, a stailess steel sink and a 12v fridge/coolbox unit.
Mechanical and Rigging
This Maxi 84, hull number 193, was designed by Pelle Peterson and built Maxi Yachts in Sweden in 1977. She was commisioned in 1978.
The hull, coachroof are constructed in GRP with a teak laid cockpit.
Internal teak finished joinery, which has been modified for extended cruising, to a very high standard.
Steel ballasted fin keel with transom hung rudder and tiller steering.
Mechanical:
Volvo 2020D 18hp diesel engine fitted in 2002 with 1091 hours of use. fully serviced annually with service history log.
Saildrive to a fixed 3 bladed propellor.
Saildrive membrane replaced 2008.
Spars and Rigging:
Sloop rigged, deck stepped mast fitted with stainless steel standing rigging last replaced 1998.
Silver anodised alloy mast and boom.
Sails:
Slab reefing main by Oban sails.
Furling 8oz bi-radial C cut genoa(2002) by Arundel.
Spinnaker pole
Spare mainsail and small genoa for winter use.
Electrics:
12V system with 4 switched batteries. (3x 85Ah and 1x 85Ah engine starter)
