Broker Remarks

The Memory 19 is a traditional gaff rigged day sailer built in fibreglass with a coachroof and large cockpit, giving two berths below. She has very pretty lines but with a modern design inspired by the Brightlingsea fishing smacks.  'Florence' is set up for single handed sailing by her one owner. The Memory 19 is also very popular for many of the 'old gaffer' races with over 120 already built. Owned by the current owner for the last four years and presented in good order. Available with a trailer

Gaff rigged sloop with Columbian pine keel stepped mast, gaff, boom, and bowsprit.   Stainless steel standing rigging. Polyester running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Wick and Martin headsail furling system.

Mechanical Systems:

Mercury 6HP four-stroke, new 2018 outboard mounted on an adjustable bracket on the transom. Manual start. Three bladed propeller. 4 knots cruising speed and 5 knots maximum speed. 12-litre plastic fuel tank.

Construction:
Built-in 2004 by Salterns Boatbuilders of Bursledon to a Tony Robinson design. Black coloured GRP hull, with cream coloured and moulded non-slip deck and superstructure. Steel lifting keel operated in the cockpit with reduction gearing. Tiller steering with a transom hung rudder. Hull was painted in 2018 and also antifouled. She is presented in good order and has been owned by the current owner for the past four years. Available with a trailer
