Broker Remarks

La Mouette was commissioned in 1989 by Retreat Boatyard In Topsham, Exmouth. Purchased by her first owner, she was delivered to Dartmouth, where she spent 11 years being sailed out of Dartmouth and lightly used for short holiday breaks. She was never raced and spent winters ashore, and the engine was professionally serviced.
In the spring of 2000, La Mouette was purchased by her second owner from the Retreat Brokerage. She sailed to Wareham in Poole and moored on the River Frome, opposite the Redcliffe Sailing Club. La Mouette was used for Day Sailing and occasional weekend trips to the Solent. Winters were spent ashore in Wareham, where all upholstery and soft furnishings were stored at home.
La Mouette's 3rd and current owner purchased her from Wareham and sailed her to Plymouth in Spring 2004. She has been wintered ashore every year at Shorestore Boatyard and laid up and well-maintained. Many extras have been added for comfortable single handed sailing in the Plymouth sea areas and never raced.
