The Moody 38CC is a well built, centre cockpit cruiser with excellent accommodation for extended cruising. This three-owner example is well equipped and has been well maintained. Fully refurbished 2016/17, new engine 2015, her hull has been antifouled April 2018, and she is ready for the coming season. An excellent opportunity to acquire a spacious, comfortable sailing cruiser presented in very good order.
Accommodation
The Moody 38CC offers seven berths in three cabins and the saloon with full 6'2" standing headroom.
The Foreward cabin, with its double vee berth with infill, storage lockers and En-suite toilet compartment containing a marine toilet, washbasin and shower with hot and cold water.
The saloon consists of a large U-shaped dinette to starboard which forms a single berth and settee seating area opposite. The galley is to port with Neptune 4500 gas cooker with two burners, grill and oven, fridge/freezer, twin sinks and storage. The Chart table is aft to starboard with a good display of navigation equipment. There is a single quarter berth in the separate cabin between the saloon and aft cabin. Main heads with marine toilet, shower and washbasin with the Ensuite facility to the main cabin. Pressurised hot and cold fresh water system via engine calorifier with immersion coil. Master cabin with large double berth, seating areas, lockers, draws and vanity unit. Air conditioning reverse cycle.

Masthead Bermudan sloop rig. Kemp silver anodised aluminium mast. Mast steps. Kemp spinnaker pole. Silver anodised aluminium boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2002). Terylene running rigging (2015) led aft to cockpit. Single line slab reefing to Mainsail. Furlex headsail furling system.

The Moody 38CC is powered by a 2015 Beta Marine B60 60hp four-cylinder diesel engine (last serviced April 2018) with service history, indirect cooling system, shaft drive to a three bladed propellor with rope cutter. Single lever Morse control. Refurbished mild steel fuel tank. Vetus Bowthruster fitted. Last out of water service April 2018, new seacocks, anodes, antifouled. New inboard bearing installed in 2015, new cutlass bearing 2015.
1 x Domestic 12-volt battery, 1 x 12-volt engine battery, 1 x 12-volt Bow thruster battery. Charging from the engine alternator, 240-volt battery charger. Shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, fitted with immersion heater and inverter.

Cast iron shallow fin keel. Wheel steering to skeg hung rudder. Self-draining cockpit and anchor well. Teak rubbing strakes. Teak laid cockpit seats and sole. Stainless steel rails and guard wires.
