This classic 1973 North Star 500 designed by Sparkman & Stephens, was built by Hughes Boat Works Ltd. in
Canada. She is a robust cruising yacht with four berths, 10.6HP Nanni (1994) diesel engine, furling headsail, 2 x
spinnakers, colour chart-plotter/GPS, four wheel trailer and more! Refurbishment work carried
out during the winter lockdown of 2020/2021 cost about €5,000 (including - complete rewiring, sanding, painting etc).
