Broker Remarks
This Westerly 35 Oceanquest is in very good condition, she has been owned by the same owner from new and she was one of the last boats to be built. She has been lightly used and the condition proves this.
She has been well maintained and always professionally serviced, she has the Yanmar 3GM engine with a saildrive transmission, often the Yanmar is a prefered choice of engine. The engine has done very few hours and believed to be less than 500.
Her good Hyde Sails that are in good order, the cloth feel good and the sails hold a good shape. The storm jib is in like-new condition!
She has all of the modern-day amenities such as cabin heating, refrigerator, hot water, electric anchor windlass, boarding gates and a stackpack.
She has single line reefing and all lines lead aft to the cockpit. She has just had the headlings completely professionally renewed to ensure there is none of the well known Westerly sag present.
Owners Remarks:
I have found her to be a very easy boat to handle and with a good performance. I will be sorry to see her sold and wish I had been able to sail her more often.
