Owners Remarks:
Beaufin was rescued from being broken up in 2016. An extensive refit was ordered by me to include the addition of a transom gate to allow the boarding of a person in a wheelchair. This was undertaken by RW Davis and sons in Gloucester near to our home. We have also fitted a hydraulic lift to the salon floor which is virtually invisible. Our plan was to cruise the south coast of England with our disabled son.
However, to our surprise and delight, events overtook us and he decided to get a partner and now the two of them are happily living independently and have little interest in Beaufin.
Beaufin was finally launched in 2020 and due to the pandemic has not cruised very far in fact the engines have less than 30 hours.
Beaufin is now surplus to our requirements, I will be sad to see her go at a fraction of what she cost, but she needs to be used and not just sit in the marina.
