1984 Pegasus 700 £3,900
This lifting keeled version of the Pegasus 700 is a popular cruiser from Rydgeway Marine built to the Gordon Harris design. This yacht is lovely and easy to sail with a good performance.
A much-loved family boat with accommodation aboard for five and ideal for exploring shoal waters and taking the mud if required, an ideal starter boat. You will not be disappointed by this nicely presented pocket sailing cruiser which benefits from useful owner improvements. A 2014 survey is available on request.
Accommodation
The Pegasus 700 internal accommodation is user-friendly with single five berths. It has 5’ 10” of headroom by the companionway. There are settee berths either side of the cabin and a table off-set to starboard.
There are a fixed basin and a 2-hob gas cooker at the companionway. The cooker unit slides out for use as a cooker and doubles up for use as a chart table. The folding leaf of the main saloon table also converts to be used as a cockpit table on a stainless-steel leg. There is ample storage space under the berths and behind and above the back supports.
In the forward cabin there is a ‘V’ berth and a chemical toilet, wash basin with cold water supply. Finished throughout in beige upholstery.
