1989 Sunseeker Portofino 31
This beautifully presented and well maintained Classic 1989 Sunseeker Portofino 31 with her blue hull band and accents looks stunning. She is fitted with the ever-popular Volvo Penta AQAD41A (200hp) 6 Cylinder Turbo Diesel Inboard Engines with Aluminium Duo Prop, bowthruster and trim tabs. This Sports Cruiser was refitted in 2000. Well worth travelling to see as this boat which was fully refurbished by her previous owner, a professional ships engineer, including full rewiring in marine cable, fully replumbing, engines removed overhauled and repainted, installation of a Vetus bowthruster and replacement of the cockpit upholstery by Toomer and Hayter. Vessel is ready for the current season.
Accommodation
Mediterranean -style open cruiser with large cockpit and compact accommodation below. Sleeping accommodation offers 4 berths in two cabins, the saloon seating converts to double berth with double cabin aft. Heads with sea toilet wash hand basin and shower. Galley Recessed two burner gas hob, sink with hot/cold mixer tap, refrigerator. Pressurised hot and cold-water system. Living accommodation decor in a floral design, with cockpit leather seating in white with blue piping. Radio/CD. Overhead cockpit lighting replaced with LED in April 2019.
Mechanical and Rigging
Located under the cockpit floor are two Volvo AQAD41A 6 Cylinder 200HP each Turbo diesel engines. Port engine has run for TBA hrs and the starboard engine TBA hours
The engines were last serviced by the current owner in June 2021 when the outdrives were also serviced, and the bellows changed. With a clean hull, she will cruise at 20 knots and deliver a maximum speed of 35 knots. She is easily handled with the twin engines and aided by the Vetus Bowthruster. Bennett electric trim tabs have also been fitted. She will hold 500 litres of fuel in her single aluminium fuel tank giving a range of approx 175 nautical miles.
Electrical Systems
5 x 12V batteries ( 2 x Engine 2 x Domestic and 1 X Bowthruster) charging from engine alternator, solar panel and via a Sterling Charger/Conditoiner via 240V shore power system. She is also fitted with a 240V immersion heater.

Construction
Built-in 1989 by Sunseeker. White GRP hull with blue style stripes.GRP toe rails. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to the deck. Wheel steering. Aft self-draining cockpit. This Sports Cruiser was refitted in 2000 and has been well maintained since. Hull was epoxied coated in 2009. She was last out of the water in March 2022 when she was antifouled, anodes changed legs serviced and the hull was polished. This vessel has had four previous owners and has been used by the current owner on the East and South There is a 2011 survey available upon written request. We also have available a full inventory of work carried out between 2000 to 2011 available on request. The current owner has owned the vessel for three years, but is selling due to a change circumstances .
