She offers 4 berths, a double berth in the forward cabin with en-suite and two single berths in a midships cabin with a large saloon and aft cockpit. She is powered by twin 306Hp Volvo Penta TAMD61A turbo diesel engines. She is well equipped with gas and electric cooker, microwave, fridge, diesel heating and a good range of navigation equipment.
Accommodation
This Princess 388 Flybridge offers four berths in two cabins. The forward cabin has a central oval double berth with storage beneath. There are wardrobes either side with hanging and general shelving. There is a central opening deck hatch and portholes which makes the cabin light and airy. There is a door that leads to the en-suite heads which has a white vanity united with washbasin with hot and cold pressurised water. A marine toilet and shower.
Walking aft on the starboard side is a midships cabin with twin berths, It has a hanging locker and storage beneath the berths. Opposite is the day heads with a white vanity unit with a handbasin with hot and cold water and walk-in shower.
Aft of the day heads is the U shaped galley which is well equipped with lots of storage space. It has a 4 burner hob, two electric and two gas, 240V microwave, Front opening 12v fridge with a large freezer box and two stainless steel sinks with hot and cold water.
Walking up three steps takes you to the large saloon that has a free-standing movable central table and L shape settee to starboard and settee to port. The upholstery in the saloon was replaced at the beginning of 2020.The colour of the new upholstery gives the boat a rich and luxurious feel which is made to feel cosy by the Eberspacher Diesel cabin heating with outlets in all cabins. The double patio doors open to a large aft cockpit with full cockpit enclosure with a teak cockpit sole. There is a set of stairs that lead up to the flybridge which has large seating area and a double helm position. There are individual covers for the seats and helms positions on the flybridge.
There is a large bathing planform with boarding ladder and a set of davits.
Mechanical and Rigging
Powered by twin Volvo Penta TAMD 61A 306HP turbo 6 cylinder diesel engines. The engines have completed circa 590 hours. The date when the engines were last serviced is unknown and there is little service history available. Shaft drive to 3 bladed bronze props with rope cutters that enable the boat to cruise at between 18 - 20 knots and have a maximum speed of 30 knots. when trimmed with the trim tabs. There are two steel fuel tanks giving a maximum fuel capacity of 1,100 litres.
Electrical Systems
Six x 12V batteries ( 4 x domestic and 2 x engine) charged by the engine alternator and via a 240v battery charger. The boat has a 240V ring main system with a hot water immersion heater.

History and Construction
This Princess 388 Flybridge was built in Plymouth in 1990. she has a white hull and superstructure with teak floor in the aft cockpit area and teak on the steps to the flybridge. Self-draining cockpit. Last out of the water September 2020 when anodes were checked and she was antifouled. Believed to have had five previous owners. The current owner has only owned the boat since July 2020 and is selling as he but has purchased a larger motorboat.
