This Rival is in extremely nice order and her interior is especially nice with a rich teak finish and she is well equipped. Regularly maintained she is ready for sailing and a marina berth is available with this boat. Viewing highly recommended
Accommodation
Forecabin with 2 single berths, heads compartment with sea water toilet and washbasin. Saloon with port and starboard settees, ( 1 double , 1 single) plus stretcher berths that pull out above settees. Galley with 2 burner gas cooker, grill and oven, sink. Chart table area with large locker behind ( which was once a quarter berth) Lovely teak interior finish
Mechanical and Rigging
Solid GRP lay up with long fin and skeg hung rudder, tiller steering. Preventative epoxied in 1997, original beaching legs. Volvo Penta model 2002, 2 cylinder 20hp diesel (overhauled by Volvo dealer 2000 ) driving a fixed 2 bladed propeller fitted with rope cutter. New morse controls and cables. 3 x 12v 100amp/hr batteries. Adverc battery management charging system. Wired for 240v shorepower. 25 gallons diesel and 50 gallons water in 2 flexible tanks. Pressurised water. Kemp alloy mast and boom plus 2 spinnaker poles. New standing rigging 2005. Cutter rigged with Furlex MkII for jib and staysail, mainsail (97), staysail (99) and jib (97), spinnaker with snuffer and cruising shute. Mainsail cover. 2 x Lewmar 44 CST primaries and 2 x Lewmar 30 CST winches.
