RIVAL 38A 1977 Moulded by Southern Boat Co. Ltd, finished by Anvil Yachts Poole. Bermudan cutter rigged sloop. GRP hull, deck and superstructure, long fin keel, skeg hung rudder, wheel steering, aft cockpit version, Beta 38HP 2005 diesel shaft driven engine, serviced 2019, Brunton  folding prop, stainless steel standing rigging 2017, tan sails main and large genoa, three batteries, 6 berths (1 x double, 4 x single berths) in 1 cabin excluding saloon, toilet compartment with Jabsco w.c. handbasin and shower not fitted, Blue white striped upholstery, the interior has be extensively insulated above the waterline with 1,000 non combustible high density nitrile close cell insulation, headroom 2M, cabin heating. For instruments see Inventory.  Additional equipment Monitor wind vane steering, new deck hatch, hand rails refitted, she underwent a 7K summer refit including gel shield, prime con and antifoul. Keel cooled fridge, 2018 Vesap 8000 XB AIS transponder with VHF mast head splitter and wifi connection, 2018 Icom DSC/VHF with cockpit repeater, 2020 Force 10 cooker rebuilt, 2018 new gas regulator with switchover, additional spinnaker with snuffer and stern cutter sails, special drogue anchor attachment plates on stern quarters, 2018 emergency tiller rebuild. Topsides painted in International Toplac 108 blue, she is fitted with custom made stainless steel bowsprit and chainplates for bobstays, new skin fittings and sea cocks in 2020. Her interior requires new headlining and decorations to suit new owner's requirements. Last anti fouled 2020, no recent survey. A significant amount of work and over 20K of expenditure has been made in making "Rival Spirit" a comfortable long stay vessel. The work has focussed on remaking through hull fittings, insulation and heating. "Rival Spirit"  is fitted with both Eberspacher and Dickenson Newport diesel heater. The boat is always warm and dry with no noticeable condensation even during the coldest winter months"

Beta 38HP 2005 diesel inboard engine, shaft driven, hours not known but in very good condition, seawater cooled via closed loop heat exchanger, last serviced 2019.

Electrics: Three 12v batteries 2017 110AH each, alternator, 240v battery charger.

Rigging: Bermudan cutter rigged sloop, aluminium spars, spinnaker pole (only)

Stainless steel standing rigging 2017, running rigging. 3 reefs to block on boom.

Sails: Tan sails believed 2005, Genoa requires UV strip replacement.

DECK: Bruce anchor with 30M of 10mm chain, electric anchor windlass, manual winch handle, LED masthead light and deck level, guard wire, sprayhood, stainless steel loop over toe rail ladder, 5 x fenders, assortment of service items, 2 x Genoa winches, 2 x halyard winches, manual and electric bilge pump.

CABIN: Gas detector, new Force 10 2020 gas cooker 2 burner with oven and grill, stainless steel sink, barometer.

NAVIGATION: Compass (needs replacing), Epirb, Vespa AIS fitted 2018, electronic charts updated 2018. Owner stated instruments are displayed in the cockpit while radar, VHF and switch panel are located at the port chart table.

SAFETY: Liferaft last serviced 2017, danbuoy, 2 x fire extinguishers.
