Broker Remarks
This Sadler 26 bilge keeler is a very good example of her kind. She has been well maintained and is in excellent condition.The present owner has used the boat regularly and has just returned from a 5 week trip to the West coast of Scotland.
Accommodation
The Sadler 26 sleeps 5 with a forward V berth with infill to make a double berth with the dining area converting into a generous single berth. Also there is a single berth on the starboard side opposite the dining area with an additional pilot berth on the port side next to the navigation staion. A separate toilet compartment is located forward on the port side with a wet locker opposite.
Galley:
The galley situated on the starboard side is equipped with an Flavel 2 burner gas cooker with grill and oven.
Also fitted with a stainless steel sink with manually pumped fresh water supply.
Mechanical and Rigging
Designed by David Sadler and built in 1987, both hull and decks are constructed of GRP and the interior is fitted out in teak veneer and upholstered in soft biege check cloth.
Mechanical:
Powered by a Beta BZ482 (2006) shaft drive with a fixed 3 bladed propellor.
Rigging:
Masthead rigged with stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 1998.
Aluminium spars with roller furling headsail and slab reefing main.
Sail wardrobe consists of mainsail, genoa and spinnaker plus snuffer.
Electric:
12V supply from two 85 Ah batteries charged by engine alternator, solar panel, or 240V battery charger.
Fitted with 240V shorepower and cable.
Tankage:
45 litre stainless steel diesel tank.
45 litre flexible fresh water tanks.
