This Seaward 23 named "Pieces Of Eight" has been owned by the present owner since 1996, who has described her as an excellent sea boat, very easy to handle and manoeuvre and is economical to run. He has had excellent service from her and has returned this with excellent ongoing maintenance and care, which is easily seen when viewing the boat.
Accommodation
Cockpit:
Spacious wheelhouse and generous cockpit area, which is fully screened from the elements by a cockpit cover, or a framed cockpit tent, which incorporates zipped flaps and allows entry via the stern platform.
Under hinged wheelhouse pilot and navigator seats lies the access to the engines, which provides excellent all round visibility of the engine compartments.
At the wheel is a comfortable single seat for the pilot and opposite another for the navigator with chart table.
Saloon:
In the forward area there is a seating area with table, which converts to a large double berth.
The saloon table can also be moved to the cockpit area.
A separate compartment on the port side has a marine toilet and wash hand basin.
Galley:
The galley is on the starboard side which has a Primus 2 burner gas hob, grill and stainless steel basin.
Mechanical and Rigging
Twin Ford Mermaid XLD 56hp diesel engines with shaft drives to fixed 3 bladed propellors.
