Seawolf 30 1985 £19,950

This is an excellent and lightly used example of the 1985 Seawolf 30, offering a spacious layout with attractive lines with the benefit of a new engine This yacht is the twin keel version combining excellent sailing performance with a shallow draft for easy sailing on the East Coast. This yacht has a high specification and has only had two owners from new. This yacht has been updated and maintained to a good standard. An early viewing is highly recommended.

Accommodation

The Seawolf 30 offers up to 5 berths in 2 cabins with max 6'2" headroom. The Fore cabin has a double V berth with Dunlopillo mattress/seats, stowage under the berth, locker to port and a hanging locker to starboard and a hatch to the foredeck.

The Saloon has a double berth with a central dining table and storage in various lockers and under the berths. The saloon has a light and airy feel to it.

The linear Galley is to starboard and is equipped with a gimballed Plastimo Neptune 2000 2-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, a stainless steel sink, 12v & 240v fridge and lots of storage, and crockery, pots, pans and  utensils. The Chart table is to starboard with instrumentation, chart stowage and the electrical distribution panel is beneath the companionway. The Heads are aft and to port with a Jabsco twist and lock marine toilet, wash basin and shower. plus wet stowage. Planar 2D diesel cabin heating

There is an aft quarter berth to starboard with engine access panel. The yacht is fitted with hot and cold electric pumped water system via a calorifier and a 240v immersion heater.

The current owner has replaced the headlining's and added new insulation throughout. 

The Seawolf 30 has a large cockpit with deep sail lockers and gas storage and with tiller steering.

Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical Systems:
Located beneath the companionway steps is a Beta B20 fitted in September 2017 marine diesel engine. This engine has only done 40 hours as at 28th April 2022. Seawater cooled it also has a heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Rev counter. Shaft drive to a 3 bladed fixed propeller. Cruising speed of 6 knots with a maximum speed of 7 Knots  Stainless steel diesel tank 77 litres. Engine last serviced June 2021 by the owner

Sails and Spars:
7/8 Fractional rigged Bermudan rigged sloop with single spreader rig. Deck stepped anodised aluminum mast and boom new 1989 Stainless steel standing rigging new 2021 by Wilkinson Sails. Terylene running rigging replaced as required. Slab reeling mainsail with 3 reefs. Rotostay roller furling system. All lines led aft to clutches in the cockpit. Adjustable backstay. Spinnaker pole.

Winches:

• 2 x Lewmar 40ST 2 speed self-tailing Sheet winches
• 2 x Lewmar 30ST single speed Halyard winches
• 1 X additional winch at the mast.

Sails:

• 1 x Mainsail, Dacron, Banks, 2012, very condition good
• 1 x No 2 Furling Genoa, Dacron ,tri-radial cut 2012, very good condition

• All sails were last valeted in 2019
