Broker Remarks
The Shamrock Club 30 shares the same hull as the successful Golden Shamrock 30 half tonner but offers much improved cruising accommodation. Orion's inventory and upgrades include wheel steering. She has clearly benefited from regular maintenance and care during her current ownership and is in very good condition for her age and type. She has just been ashore for the seacocks to be serviced, antifouled and anodes changed. She is currently waiting to be re-launched.
Accommodation
The interior offers a surprisingly modern and light feel and offers up to six berths in two cabins with approx. 6' maximum headroom. Fitted out to a high standard in solid teak and teak veneers with cream linings and blue Alcantara suedette upholstery. Fore cabin with V-berth, infill to form a double berth and stowage beneath and in open overhead lockers.
Separate heads compartment to port with a Jabsco sea toilet, pull out washbasin and a storage locker opposite to starboard. Saloon fitted with a large U-shaped dinette with table that lowers to make a double berth to port, settee berth to starboard and good storage in various lockers and beneath seating.
Galley aft to port equipped with a Techimpex 2-burner cooker with oven and grill, sink with electric and manually pumped fresh water supplies and ample stowage. Chart table to starboard with instruments and electrical distribution panel over a quarter berth aft.

History & Construction:
he Club Shamrock 30 built by Southcoast Boat Works Ltd. to a Ron Holland design. White GRP hull and superstructure with grey anti-slip deck surfaces. Lead fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Aft self-draining cockpit. 'Orion' has undergone constant upgrades in her current ownership from 1998 onwards, all work being carried out to a high standard. Some of these items are listed below. Ideal for fast cruising or competitive club racing this Ron Holland design has a proven track record, 'Orion' even won the WIORA (Irish west coast championship) in 1990 and 1993 during previous ownership.
