The yacht is a 1982 example with Fractional Rigging Fine example of this classic cruiser/racer from the drawing board of David Thomas and built by Marine Projects in Plymouth, England. She has excellent sailing characteristics for ocean passages. Her sister yacht Smitten built 1980 can be seen on US brokeage site and has successfully crossed the Atlantic This yacht was designed and built to please sailors in these demanding conditions. Chasseur has a fractional rig, with an easy to handle oversized fully battened mainsail with slab reefing, and a smaller foretriangle that makes tacking easy. And that the boat likes to go upwind fast. The Sigma 36 was built to Lloyd's hull construction specifications by one of Europe's leading boat manufacturers - Marine Projects. Aft to port is storage. Opposite to starboard is manual head w/overboard discharge; sink; vanity;. In main salon to port is single settee with storage below; pilot berth outboard. Opposite to starboard is u-shaped settee and table with storage under; pilot berth outboard. Aft to port is the galley. The galley is equipped with double sink; top load icebox; three burner propane stove; 50 gallon water capacity; cold water. Opposite to starboard is chart table w/shelves and quarter navigator's berth. Aft of the galley is a large double berth.
