The Southerly 28 is an ideal yacht for cruising the East Coast. It is a spacious lift keel cruiser with dual steering position that is offered for sale in excellent condition. It offers 5 berths in two cabins. It is being offered for sale with a good range of instruments, diesel cabin heating. Her Bukh 20HP engine was fully reconditioned in 2015 (last serviced March 2018). A 2015 survey report is available on request. She is well worth an early viewing.

Accommodation
The Southerly 28 offers 5 berths in 2 cabins with 6'3" maximum headroom. The forward cabin offers two single berths.
The Saloon has a large dining table to port with C-shaped seating and table which can be slid up the mast step pole to underside of the deck. There is an infill that goes under the salon table when raised to make into a double berth.
There is a linear galley to starboard with two burner gas hob, with oven and grill. stainless steel sink with cold pressurised water. Aft of the galley is a large chart table with navigation seat, instrumentation and access to the aft quarter 6" 5" berth.
The Heads is aft of the saloon and to port with Jabscom electric marine toilet, wash basin with cold water tap. The boat has fawn/brown upholstery with carpets and curtains. The boat has a cosy feel which is enhanced by the Eberspacher diesel cabin heating system.
The companionway steps led up to a large, well-protected cockpit with two good sized lockers.
Sails and SparsMasthead Bermudan sloop with deck stepped aluminium mast and aluminium Z-Spar boom. Stainless steel rigging (replaced 2015 and upgraded), with Terylene running rigging (replaced 2015). Roller reefing to Mainsail, with furling Genoa.

This Southerly 28 is powered by Bukh, two cylinder, 20hp diesel engine located under companionway steps and cockpit floor with easy access. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2015 and currently has 170 hours use as of June 2018. Last serviced March 2018. It is shaft drive via P-bracket to a three-blade fixed propeller. Fresh water cooled. Single lever Morse controls on steering pedestal. 60 litre fuel tank.
2 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine + 1 x domestic) charging from alternator and battery charger. 240v shore power system with ring main and battery charger and inverter.
