This Colvic Sunquest 44 designed by John Bennett is a fine example of a powerful flybridge cruiser. She is spacious with good storage facilities with three separate seating areas including the flybridge, providing exceptional space for relaxing and entertaining your guests. Work on updating the interior of this cruiser has been started by the current owners with new upholstery and new wood panelling but now requires someone to finish the project - hence why she is being offered for sale at the current price. The owner is open to reasonable offers for a quick sale. The current berth is also available until April 2022.
Accommodation
Spacious Saloon. Fitted leatherette ivory covered settees. Recessed led ceiling lighting. Curtains. A new diesel cabin heating system is onboard but has not been fitted.
Galley leading from saloon down three steps. The galley has a three-ring gas hob, 12v refrigerator, one stainless steel sinks with mixer tap pressurised hot and cold water. Granite worktops fitted cupboards for crockery.
Lower Helm position off the saloon. Leather upholstered bench seat. With good all-round visibility. Full instrumentation panel finished with wood veneer surround. Second double cabin leading from galley area. Recessed led ceiling lights. There is a single cabin forward of the galley. There are two shower rooms with pumped out showers. Pressurised hot and cold water. Fitted vanity basins tops with mixer taps, mirrors, and fitted storage cupboards. 90ltr holding tank.
Large Master. The Double cabin located at the front has a super king double bed with headboard. Wardrobe cupboards. Led recessed lights and reading lights. Fitted carpets.
Cockpit fully enclosed with large seating area, with access to large lazerette.
Flybridge with access from the cockpit. Helm seat with co-pilot seats, in white leather with piping detail, flybridge table and bench seating with piping detail, also curved front windscreen. Radar arch with Raymarine dome. Instrumentation panel requires some attention.
Mechanical and Rigging
The Colvic Sunquest 44 is powered by twin 1995 Caterpillar 3116 TA 355hp turbo charged diesel engines (500hours) last serviced July 2017 by the owner, indirectly cooled. Shaft drive to bronze 4 bladed propellers. Vetus Bowthruster and Bennet trim tabs. Twin stainless steel fuel tanks with a combined capacity of 1000 litres.
5 x 12-volt 150AH batteries all approx six years old charging from the engine alternator, 240-volt battery charger, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main with immersion heater.

This Colvic Sunquest 44 was built in 1995. It has a white hull and superstructure. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Glass windscreen flybridge screen. Walkthrough transom gate to bathing platform. Teak battens to bathing platform. Self-draining cockpit. She has been owned by the current owner since 2015. Last out of the water April 2019 when anodes changed and hull antifouled. The vessel has been used as a base for the owner whilst he has been working on projects in the Medway area.
